I have completed undergraduate Bachelor degrees in Behavioural Science and Commerce at Griffith University. I also undertook a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours at Griffith University and received the Griffith Award for Academic Excellence. Whilst studying, I also worked as a carer and therapist for a young boy with autism. It was this experience that sparked a keen interest in child development and working with children, and subsequently led to me to complete a Master of Educational and Developmental psychology at Queensland University of Technology.

I have several years’ experience in private practice and providing psychological services to children and adolescents, and their families. My specialised training enables me to administer comprehensive psychological assessments to identify learning difficulties and developmental or social-emotional issues, and deliver targeted therapeutic interventions to support young clients and their families. My individually-tailored therapeutic interventions adopt a strengths-based approach and incorporate elements of multiple modalities of therapy.

My intervention and counselling services assist and support children and adolescents experiencing mental health problems (e.g., depression and anxiety), social-emotional problems (e.g., anger and impulsivity, challenging behaviour), delays in various aspects of development (e.g., social skills, emotional self-regulation, executive functioning skills).

I am registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and a full Member of the Australian Psychological Society. I am an Associate Member and Secretary of the QLD College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists. I am also a registered Medicare provider. I have an ongoing commitment to professional development and regularly engage in professional development and training events.

I practice psychology from an educational and developmental perspective that considers a child’s growth and learning to be continuous throughout the lifespan.

I am passionate about my work, and strive to create and encourage positive developmental outcomes for young people in my role as a psychologist assisting children and families
